| Tiivistelmä: | This article presents a risk assessment tool for examining drinking water infrastructure (hereafter as DWI). The aim of this tool is to estimate decision-maker's sensitivity to the risk of the DWI systems failure. The particular case analyzed was United States DWI system. The conclusions of the paper reveal that decision-makers will achieve positive effects on expected budgetary outcomes if they assume risk-avoidance positions through proactive asset management strategies. |
