| Tiivistelmä: | Using catastrophe model, a generic model of competitive dynamics is presented which allows for the integration of structural (industry inertia) and process (relative competitive force) components of competitive dynamics found in the marketplace. The catastrophe model takes account of the variety of ways changes in competitive position can occur among competing business in an industry. There are also further applications to organizational and managerial contest. |
