| Tiivistelmä: | International or global companies working with several different currencies should have the right financial applications software. The case story of Sunbeam Intercontinental Ltd. of Miami, USA, shows that for international financial transactions special currency handling software must be used. Unexpected accounting applications are also having some success, but the roster of software vendors with proven global capabilities is small. A list of major suppliers of integrated financial application packages with international capabilities is presented. The story of running such programs for the case of Brazil with its hyperinflation is presented. |
