| Tiivistelmä: | During the last few years,due to different reasons,a number of large companies have been reorganized.Although the restructuration process of these firms shows many differences,several general features of reorganization can be established: the existence of a certain "diagnostic period" preceding restructuration,the choice of strategic options,the slimming-off of fixed capital and output capacities,the reorientation of new investments. To assure a new behavior of the company it is usually necessary to replace high executives and establish a management staff,parallel with a considerable decentralization of managing functions. |
