| Tiivistelmä: | In a recent paper Gazi (1987) proposed a method for decentralized decision making in an enterprise having a center and several divisions. The classical approach to this problem has been Dantzig-Wolf (1961) decomposition method which - together with its developments - were ignored by Gazi. Gazi's method is not directly comparable to DW, but in practice it is less general and less efficient than DW. |
