Tiivistelmä:Entrepreneurship is conceptualized as a process within organizations and its dimensions (innovations, risk taking and proactivity) are discussed. Importance of entrepreneurship in a corporate context is emphasised by an increasingly dynamic, threatening and/or complex environment. According to a survey organizational constraints on entrepreneurship are: systems, structures, strategic direction, policies and procedures, people, culture; all these are discussed. A case study is described as an example of how the barriers are overcome within a large corporation /AT+T's Network Systems/. It is concluded that implementing an entrepreneurial strategy is a lengthy and demanding process.
