| Tiivistelmä: | Despite a lack of theory on transformation from a centrally planned economy towards the market mechanism both at the starting point of the reforms and seven years after the process commenced in east Central Europe , some generalisations can be formulated. The aim of this article is to show that macrostabilisation policy played a specific role on the micro level, serving as the most accessible tool to shape the reactions of the enterprise. The article focuses on general presentation of the macro policy measures, showing the evolution of some of the instruments utilised. |
