| Tiivistelmä: | This study investigates the experience of developing a planning, execution and control system for fuel distribution . A knowledge-based approach is used, which utilizes a graphical user interface that mimics the mental model of the user. Also historical information is available , which improves operations and supports the management decision making processes with it's corresponding statistical analysis. The system is used throughout the country, customers receive a high quality service, and plant managers have increased fleet efficiency. |
