| Tiivistelmä: | There was a conference on Planning and Management of Broadcasting Systems in East Africa with the participation of the representatives of the affected countries as well as that of the UNESCO observers. They agreed that FM/VHF mode proved to be the most suitable in this region. Furthermore, a decision was made to produce FM receivers in East Africa as they are cheap and easy to operate. Frequency problems need further consideration. |
