| Tiivistelmä: | During 1987 the three original owners of the major TV networks sold their interests. Due to changed media laws decreasing income and reduction in advertising revenues also J. Fairfaz Ltd has sold out its network to the Universal Telecasters. The new owner promised a change in programming. Of the 50 commercial TV stations 23 succeeded in increasing their operating profits or in decreasing their operating losses. As to commercial radio stations, the majority of them could enhance their pre-tax profits. |
