| Tiivistelmä: | The managers' moves to lower status jobs are examined, and effects of moves into and from unemployment are considered. The present longitudinal questionnaire study examined the psychological impact of managerial downward status shifts. The results show that among managers the negative impact of downward status moves on psychological adjustment is greater than that of the temporary role loss. |
