| Tiivistelmä: | An in-company information centre (IC) is a service sector for customer-related problems. Fundamental guidelines are presented for the successful development and operations of such an IC. These guidelines are grouped into seven chapters: 1. General considerations; 2. Administrative principles; 3. Structural relationships; 4.Personal computers; 5. Education and training aided by an IC; 6. Support for end users; 7.End user counselling. Strategic planning is shown to be a prerequisite to the successful implementation of the IC concepts. |
