Tiivistelmä:Qureshey, the co-chairman and chief executive officer of AST Research runs the company like an entrepreneur. He trusts his own judgement. As the stock price rose, he grew more confident at the company's apparent success. Then the stock price started to fall. Qureshey started doubting his ability to lead the business. He knew he had to rethink his attitude toward the stock price that reflected many factors beyond the company's control. He had kicked his strong stock price habit when in the 80s he made a strategic move knowing that Wall Street would disapprove: they entered the crowded and competitive personal computer market. The stock price took a beating for several years, but management held to its vision. AST stock started using.
