Tiivistelmä:An analysis of organizational models of multinational corporations (MNCs) is provided. The relationships between MNCs and their subsidiaries are examined. A frame of reference to the investigation of MNC networks - as products of externalization - is developed. The principle of internalization as a way of organization of MNCs is highlighted. Its advantages regarding transactional costs are shown. The transaction cost analysis of strategy-structure choice is used to compare the costs and benefits of internationalization. The growth of competitiveness and market by MNC networks is demonstrated. The strategy of business alliances is described, its influence on stability, flexibility and adaptability is investigated.
