| Tiivistelmä: | International capital markets require the disclosure of price specific information which is regulated in national stock exchange laws. An empirical analysis for the year 1996 sheds light on the information policy of Austrian listed companies. The descriptive statistic describes the main contents and the time shape of ad-hoc-information. The inferential statistics analyse the interdependence between several ratios and the quantity of information given. The debt-equity ratio and the company size show significant results. |
