| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines inflation targeting. The authors divide the monetary frameworks of countries that use an inflation target to define their monetary framework into three categories: (1) full-fledged inflation targeting, (2) implicit price stability anchor, and (3) inflation targeting lite. The revealed preference for different categories is linked empirically to cross-country structural differences in economic and financial development. |
