| Tiivistelmä: | Can small company audits still be profitable? Or have the costs of regulation made this impossible? Some of the APB's draft standards do not help matters. Some practitioners protest that full audit programmes are required to meet JMU requirements. This is a common misconception. The Auditing Practices Board has so far issued only two full standards, but no fewer than 23 exposure drafts, many of which are scheduled to become standards by the end of this year. |
