| Tiivistelmä: | The paper provides a detailed report upon the treatment of risks and insurance in entrepreneurship literature, including relevant practical advice books. In summary one can ascertain: risks are addressed in a particular form, but are neither discussed systematically nor extensively. In general the treatment is limited to some particular aspects. Except for advice books, insurance appears almost nonexistent unless it becomes a subject of advice by lawyers or is mentioned as an item of the profit and loss account which is not worth a discussion. Guidelines concentrating upon particular risks and certain types of insurance are to be considered critically because they lack a complete risk analysis and a goal-orientated risk management. |
