Tiivistelmä: | The author presents his New Year Message to MRS. He underlines the necessity to join together with the client companies, research agencies, and computer software houses to:(a) Help set good common standards for scanning based reports, services and delivery systems; (b) Help define standard terms, descriptions, calculations and time periods for a common basic service; (c) Encourage the provision of open systems, so that the data can be transferred, mixed and matched more easily; (d) Work steadfastly for the provision of open access to Named Account Retailer data - so that manufacturers are not held hostage to particular research agencies for these data. |
