| Tiivistelmä: | Tourism industry plays a significant role in the economy of Greece. This study considers the Greek passenger shipping industry and its ability to manage crises. The analysis of in-depth interviews reveals that companies have improved their readiness to respond to a crisis after two serious accidents in the turn of the millennium. The paper introduces an approach based on three specialist crisis teams which is used in the Greek passenger shipping industry. |
