| Tiivistelmä: | In the paper, the concept of competitive search markets is extended to the case with heterogeneous workers (hereafter as: wrks). If offers can condition on wrks.' productivity (here as: prod-y.) as this depends on some formal qualification, the equilibrium is separating and efficient, though there is wage compression. If offers cannot condition on wrks.' prod-y., the nature of the equilibrium depends on the size of the wrks.' prod-y. difference. |
