| Tiivistelmä: | This is an analysis of the poem. The key to its central picture is given by an Indian miniature mentioned also by Ejzenstein where Vishnu rides on an elephant formed from the bodies of young women. Not only this meaning of the poem is reconstructed but also its syntactic virtuosity is demonstrated. |
