| Tiivistelmä: | This paper attempts to raise awareness about the challenges of conducting field research on teams in global companies. The study is based on field research across multimple companies and it outlines five types of boundaries that are encountered in the field research (geographical, functional, temporal, identity and organizational), and methodological issues are discussed in distinguishing the effects of one boundary where multiple boundaries exist. |
