Tiivistelmä:The purpose of this paper is to answer a following question: how do knowledge-based factors, in addition to other factors that have been suggested in the literature, influence one's propensity to become an entrepreneur? Data is analysed from individuals located in Finland and Belgium. Findings show that knowledge-based factors have a strong impact on decision to engage in business start-up activity. Cross-country differences are also found.
