| Tiivistelmä: | The productics economic network finds its roots in the metalworking machine tool network, long dominated by mechanics and slowly diversifying towards manufacturing computer integrated automation, along with the rising influence of industrial computer diffusion. The productics network in Belgium is studied and an estimate of the number of firms which have business activities in the various fields on the supply side of the productics network is given. Beyond the exclusive service supply, trade versus production or creation is also important. The demand side of the productics network, estimated inventories for Belgium are also examined. |
