| Tiivistelmä: | The World Bank has annually adjusted the GDP announced by the Chinese government since 1994. The World Bank considers (1)the Chinese statistic system has two types of defect. One is the verification of the treatment of some deals and the other type is incomplete scope. Both lead to the under-estimation of GDP.(2)Although China had undergone some significant reform, its price system still support high prices and low prices of some products. And the distorted prices also lead to the under-estimation of GDP. The per capita GDP is one of the major foundations for World Bank to formulate loan and other preferential policies. And at the same time the opinion of World Bank has great influence on other international communities. The adjustment of the total volume of the Chinese GDP and per capita GDP will trigger chain reactions to which should pay high attention. |
