Tiivistelmä:A game theoretical approach to the decision-making problem of whether to extend or withdraw the offer to sell in a government contract proposal situation, is presented. The bid proposal process is one of the more important areas to be addressed in marketing to government. The model formulates what calculations to make and how to present the results for a two range (R and D, production) bid decision problem. Other bidding applications are also encouraged. The technique provides some important conclusions for industrial marketing managers.
