| Tiivistelmä: | Some 200 employment promotion schemes introduced in 16 industrialized countries necessarily affects the statistic on employment and unemployment. How should participants in these schemes be classified and existing statistics supplemented? Synthesizing the findings of studies covering these employment promotion schemes, it is explained how the participants are treated in different national statistical systems, and solutions are analyzed, proposed by the recent International Conference of Labour Statisticians to cope with the problems. |
