Tiivistelmä:Did leading feminist Felice Schwartz "sell out" when she proposed a "mommy track" for women in business, or was she realistically assessing the career and family options available for businesswomen today? The controversy that erupted following the publication of her article is examined. The most important questions addressed: 1. why people reacted so vehemently to this article; 2. why flexible work arrangements have recently become an all-or-nothing proposition; 3.whether a "daddy track" exist; and 4. the steps employers can take to promote work/family balance. It is argued the flexibility is crucial and that any career track decisions should always be subject to change.
