| Tiivistelmä: | The PBS documentary science series NOVA dramatizes science for an elite audience. Two episodes were chosen to examine how the process of producing entertainment out of science often obscures the real nature of scientific work despite the producers'goal of demystifying science. It is also examined how NOVA preserves the distinction between scientific and private matters, and how it portrays scientific activities. |
