| Tiivistelmä: | After analysis of the production cost of the cotton mills which have realized total automation in production, this paper holds that even the advanced countries with much high wage cost can not raise their productivity of labor and economic efficiency correspondingly as the result of investment in cotton mills for total automation in production. So if we conduct technological transformation just for the sake of saving labor, whether it is workable or not in the traditional cotton spinning system in China is worth while discussing. |
