| Tiivistelmä: | The article investigates the problem whether public media need own capital to perform properly, the same way as private business firms do. The problem is actual onsidering the deterioration of the environment of public media. The financial data of ARD and ZDF are analysed. Suggestions are made how to measure own capital in the future. |
