| Tiivistelmä: | Firewood is the major energy resource of life in rural area, especially remote mountain areas and forest districts. Every year, 0.14 billion cubic metres of forest resource is consumed for such a purpose. Many places are now even in the difficult position of no firewood to take. Coal is the mainbody in China's energy structure. Among the used coal in the country, 70% come from Shanxi province. The coal there will be used up in less than 20 years. The status quo of oil allows of no optimism. Although the Daqing Oil Field has an annual output of 50 million tons of oil, third fourths of the Pumped oil is water. During the period of Ninth Five-Year Plan, China has to become a net oil importing nation. |
