Tiivistelmä:In this paper the author researches the relative price changes in medieval Sweden, with the focus being on beer, salt, grain, oxen, butter, iron and wax. The author states that the price of most of these goods declined substantially in price relative to grain. The author suggests that the magnitude of the relative price shifts reflects organizational and technological change. Goods that possessed a high knowledge content, such as iron, copper and beer or were involved in efficient international trade like for example salt.
