| Tiivistelmä: | In this study the authors show the reasons why the so-called resource curse can be seen as a false show. They evaluate the empirical basis for the resource abundance and dependence. According to the analysis of estimations the resource dependence is determined by resource abundance, institutions and constitutions. The resource abundance has a positive effect on growth and institutional quality while resource dependence does not have influence on growth. |
