| Tiivistelmä: | A methodology to evaluate a transformation facility from the technological point of view can be of value in overcoming some of the inadequacies of current technology measurement activities. The proposed procedure considers the four basic elements of technology - technoware, humanware, infoware, and orgaware - as the key factors of production and a scheme for the measurement of the "technology content added" at a transformation facility by these four components. An example and the policy implications of such an analysis are also outlined. |
