| Tiivistelmä: | The rapid development of the economy and trade both in and out of the country throws a great influence on Guangzhou's foreign trade. For example, the adjustment of the economic structure and industrial structure in the developed countries gives Guangzhou a good chance to enlarge the export of labor-intensive products and technology-intensive products. In the 1990s, the economy of Guangzhou will increase in average 10-12 per cent a year, and the export trade will increase in average 12-14 per cent. The gross export value of Guangzhou's foreign trade will be above US$ 25 hundred million in 1995 and above US$ 45 hundred million in 2000. |
