| Tiivistelmä: | The emerging issues of the 1992 Plan that will affect small exporters have been shown. In particular, lower cost of operations within the community by EC (European Community) firms will necessitate a close examination of small exporting firms' pricing policies. This is a weak link in the international competitive standing of small USA exporters. It may be beneficial for small exporters to align themselves with USA firms that are already established in the market. Another possibility is to strengthen their positions in the Community through cooperative agreements with firms that are currently developing a Community-wide network of operations or contacts. |
