| Tiivistelmä: | A sample of 350 small firms was investigated as to the factors determining export intensity. The method of the investigation was multiphase discriminant analysis. The most important independent variables were found to be firm size, the likelihood of other foreign activities, number of export markets, rate of growth, planning of export activity, R+D intensity, innovativeness of the entrepreneur, foreign languages used by the firm and the entrepreneur. |
