| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims at discussing and exemplifying the use of annual reports as a data source in studies on business relationships and network dynamics. Annual reports enable both in-depth studies and broad cross-sectional ones, where the data is produced at the same time of reported events. The reports also make it easy to collect large amounts of data. Compared to other archival data, annual reports have also the advantage of allowing systematized data collections. Three studies are used as examples to illustrate different types of annual report data and various types of network dynamics (original in Swedish). |
