Tiivistelmä:Interorganizational links - cooperative relationships among distinct but related organizations - are believed to enhance innovative processes in organizations. The authors conceptualize various types of interorganizational links as opportunities for learning and resource sharing in the pursuit of innovation. A study of over 400 California hospitals over ten years found considerable support for the relationship between interorganizational links and innovation. Structural, institutional, and resource-based links were all strongly related to innovation in hospital services and technologies.
