| Tiivistelmä: | The British ICI will be splitted into a pharmaceutical unit and that is what share experts and consultants suggest for the German Bayer too. However, the new Chairman of the Board of Managers rejects the proposal. With the process of splitting into two units the worldwide transformation of the chemical industry will take place. The London exchange welcomed the step, and experts are sure that a similar step by Bayer will be greeted too by capital markets. It is supposed that the recent value of Bayer of 17.4 billiard DEM will grow after the split to 25 billiard /5.6 billiard of the chemical and 19.4 billiard of the pharmaceutical unit/. |
