| Tiivistelmä: | A manufacturing site team's attempt to benchmark the HR function not only identified the characteristics of "best in class" operations, but also enabled it to plot the evolution of the function as a whole. So powerful were the lessons from this study that it led to a radical refocusing and restructuring of the site organization and philosophy, which had been dubbed "Culture change to manufacturing focus". As part of this process the HR team had also changed its ethos. |
