| Tiivistelmä: | Using the writer's own recent experience of a work placement, the confusion about the relatedness of learning and experience is explored by looking sat the dominant perception of work placements. Primarily, they are seen as an opportunity for 'real' learning in the 'real world'. It is suggested that the unique status - the reality - of the experience of life and learning at university may be re- established, by conceiving of all work as a placement. |
