| Tiivistelmä: | This paper takes abroad view of the situation and expects that the orientation of the state's economic policy will be favorable to steel products, prices rising toward the rational ones. In terms of varieties, the prices of part of smaller sections will rise obviously. The price of hot- rolled sheet tends to be stable while the prices of cold- rolled sheet, zinc and tin-glazed plats stop falling. It is difficult to change the situation of supply exceeding demand on the market of steel products for railway. The prices of medium section, quality section, plate as well as high-pressure boiler tube and heavy-caliber seamless steel tube will respectively rise slightly in the first of 1997, fall and then remain stable by the mid-1997 and rise possibly by the end of 1997, rise within stability and continue to rise. |
