| Tiivistelmä: | This paper considers the question, how the techniques of Knowledge Management can be used to improve quality. The aim of this paper is to investigate the characteristics of the emerging management philosophy of Knowledge Management (KM) and to see how KM can potentially contribute to the further development of TQM. The objectives are: 1) to list the principles of TQM, on which KM principles can be built; 2) establish a KM model that is appropriate for contributing to TQM development; 3) to analyze a longitudinal case study (university/industry partnership) to illustrate the arguments in practice. |
