| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper, models depicting tourists' spatial movement patterns within a destination (hereafter as: dest.) are proposed using an inductive approach based on urban transportation modeling and tourist behaviour (here as: beh). Explanatory factors identied included a set of dest. characteristics (here as: chars.) and a set of tourist chars. influencing decision making and beh. These factors influence movement patterns in two ways, resulting in four types of territorial and three linear path models. |
