| Tiivistelmä: | In this study, the development (hereafter as: dev.) process and goals of sustainability in two internationally popular cultural destinations in Turkey is analyzed with the central hypothesis that the rapid dev. and high concentration of tourism activities cause negative effects on the natural and cultural environments etc. Residents, tourists, and investors are involved. It is found that coastal locations have met more pressure and encounter greater environmental problems than inland destinations. |
