| Tiivistelmä: | Based on a large-scale survey of small and medium-sized firms that analyzed the assessment of the impact of the Common Market on these firms, the effects of the creation of the Common Market in 1993 on economic growth and the size distribution of small and large firms are examined. A significant improvement of the innovativeness of European firms is forecasted. It is argued that income elasticities and time elasticity of demand in Europe will make European firms with highly innovative products and with short times to market very competitive. |
