| Tiivistelmä: | This paper begins with a review of different knowledge management (KM) techniques and technologies (hereafter as: t-and-t). It reports the findings of case studies of selected U.K. construction organizations (here as: cnst-orgs.), carried out with the aim of establishing what tools are currently being used in U.K. cnst-orgs. to support knowledge processes. Based on case study findings, it is indicated that most organisations do not adopt a structured approach for selecting KM t-and-t. The use of KM techniques is more evident compared to KM technologies. To conclude, the paper advocates integrated use of KM t-and-t. in cnst-orgs. |
